dietary, housekeeping and maintenance personnel. The Executive
Director and nursing staff provide supportive interventions when
necessary.
Financial Considerations
Financial considerations include an Entrance Fee and a Monthly Service
Charge. Residents select one of three Entrance Fee Plans. Efficiency
apartment residents who choose to pay a higher Monthly Service Charge
do not pay an Entrance Fee.
Entrance Fee Plans
All Entrance Fee Plans are based on apartment size and the
amount of refund the resident chooses to have refunded at the
end of occupancy. Three Entrance Fee Plans are as follows:
-
Plan A – 0% refundable
-
Plan B – 50% refundable
-
Plan C – 90% refundable
Entrance Fees are paid 30 days prior to occupancy. If the
resident vacates their apartment within the first six months
of occupancy, Plans A, B and C are 100% (less a $500 refurbishing
fee) refundable to the resident or their estate.
Monthly Service Charge
More than simple rent, the Monthly Service Charge covers the
day-to-day cost of living in the Retirement Village. It is based
on the size of apartment and the number of occupants. Services
covered by the Monthly Service Charge include the following:
- Apartment occupancy
- All utilities except cable and telephone service
- Bi-weekly housekeeping service
- Apartment maintenance, upkeep and refuse removal
- Buffet style dinner (one meal daily, served midday)
- In-room tray service for short term illness
- Social Service assistance and intervention
- Emergency response assistance
- Life enrichment activities and programs
- Wellness checks: daily I’M OK system, monthly
blood pressure monitoring.
- 24/7 on call staffing
Additional ala cart services are available.
Application Process
Individuals interested in living in the Retirement Village are
encouraged to tour our home, meet with the manager to discuss
issues and concerns, complete an application for residency, make
a $500 deposit and secure a place on the waiting list. The $500
